The Corporations
The world of Iaceo has an economy, like most worlds do. Four corporations spearhead the business world here, housing projects and employees, products and services.
Each one has a different focus, and each one complements the other.
Silent Arrow Acquisitions
This company focuses on retail and sales. Products, services, anything you might need this place can provide it, for the right price. They own the most shops on Iaceo.
Antler Crown Entertainment
Movies, parties, catering, this place has it all. Want a good time in the city? This place is the place to go. Nightclubs, restaurants, all bearing the Antler Crown mark dot the city.
Iron Spear Security
Do you need protection? A bodyguard? Or maybe goblins are getting into your cupboards. Give these guys a call and they will set up the best security system you've ever had.
Funny how you don't actually see any monitors or cameras...
Leaden Mirror Inc.
The research center Leaden Mirror boasts could compete with any think tank, boasting bright minds and heated discussions. If you're looking a place to ponder the mysteries of the universe, this is the place.
The corporations are not the end all be all of the world, but they do offer several important features should a character join up with one.
Favors: an character affiliated with a corporation may gain invitations and favors granted to them from HQ. Sometimes it might be a simple party, other times it could be an item of great power.
Protection: employees are granted special protection whenever they accept a job or mission outside of the HQ.
Sponsorship: Some companies will sponsor a character not otherwise affiliated to go on an mission. These missions will usually include a reward or payment outside of the listed payment, but characters will not know what it is until they have successfully completed it.
